Creating a home that feels effortlessly personal

Your home doesn’t just need to work visually; it should feel right emotionally and function seamlessly day to day. It’s my job to enhance your quality of life, from making mornings run more smoothly to evenings that feel calmer and more comfortable.

And I start by getting to know you. I observe how you live: your lifestyle, who shares the space, what you use each area for, and how you move through it. I consider everything from how natural light shifts throughout the day to everyday practicalities that shape how a home actually works.

Enduring pieces that say so much about you

Having worked closely with makers and craftspeople throughout my career, I don’t just get how things look; I understand the process behind how they’re made. Rather than focus on current trends, I’m all about quality, longevity and sustainability. A room shouldn’t be replaceable in five years – it should be timeless.

One of the most rewarding parts of my work is incorporating what you already own. It might be a sentimental piece, like a chair passed down from someone dear, or objects already living in your home. Instead of starting with a blank slate and replacing everything, I rework and reimagine these pieces within the new design –  giving them a renewed sense of purpose and creating a space filled with things that genuinely bring you joy.

Balanced decision-making

Designing a home often means bringing together different tastes, priorities, and ways of living – especially for couples and those who are co-habitating. I act as a calm, objective guide, helping to navigate any differences. By getting to the bottom of what matters to each person, I create spaces that balance aesthetics with practicality, ensuring no one feels compromised, and everyone feels like their voice has been heard.

The values I live by

Story-led design

It begins with you. By getting under your skin, I work out how you live, what you’re drawn to, and the pieces that already carry meaning. The goal is simple: a home that’s layered, filled with personality and feels like you.

Quality that lasts

I favour well-made, thoughtful pieces – often British, where possible – with a sense of provenance and longevity. Furniture with a backstory that doesn’t follow a passing trend. I prioritise working with local makers, tradespeople and suppliers who share a commitment to quality and care.

Collaboration at every stage

I don’t design in isolation or hand over a finished idea. It’s a two-way thing. I work closely with clients, makers, and trades throughout the process. That ongoing dialogue keeps the work honest, practical, and ultimately more rewarding for everyone involved.

Integrity is everything

I do things properly, with transparency and respect at every stage. If something isn’t right, I address it. Honesty, clear communication, and taking responsibility builds trust and makes a project run well.
